Refresher Course: Effective teaching method for basic education teachers

A closing ceremony of the refresher course for teachers who will teach agriculture and livestock subjects in Grades-10, 11, and 12 of Basic Education, Industrial, Agriculture, and Livestock High Schools was held at the Yezin Agricultural University on 16th May.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Ministers of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr. Aung Gyi, Dr. Tin Htut and U Bo Bo Kyaw, Officials and teachers from departments and universities and trainee teachers from various regions and states.

At the ceremony, Deputy Minister Dr. Tin Htut delivered a speech, saying that systematic arrangements have been made to ensure the effectiveness of teaching agricultural and livestock subjects. He stressed the need to strive to familiarize and use modern AI technology effectively and to constantly innovate student-centered teaching methods.

Afterwards, the Deputy Ministers presented certificates of completion to the trainee teachers and presented gifts to the training instructors. During the course, experts from the Yezin Agricultural University, University of Veterinary Science and the Ministry of Science and Technology provided lectures on relevant subjects and facilitated discussions to enhance expertise in each lesson.
