Ceremony of Signing MoU: MOE UM attended and delivered the speech

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony for "Supply of Laboratory Equipment to Naypyitaw State Academy" between the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the Government of the Republic of India was held at 9:00 AM on February 9 at the Naypyitaw State Academy Conference Hall.

First, the Ambassador of India to Myanmar explained the purpose of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). He stated that it aims to enhance educational cooperation between Myanmar and India, to foster stronger and more progressive relations between the two countries, and to supply the necessary laboratory equipment for research activities in Myanmar's educational development efforts.

Subsequently, the MoU was signed by the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education and the Ambassador of India to Myanmar. Following that, Union Minister for Education Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein said that signing this MoU to supply laboratory equipment to Naypyitaw State Academy is a meaningful outcome of the partnership between Myanmar and India.

She expressed confidence that the project will be implemented effectively and successfully. Through this MoU, modern equipment including physics and chemistry laboratory equipment, research scientific equipment, laboratory instruments, and supporting software will be provided.

This will support the teaching, learning, and research activities of Naypyitaw State Academy. She also extended gratitude, on behalf of the Ministry of Education, to the Indian government and all those involved in the collaboration for the successful signing of the MoU. Afterwards, the Rector of Naypyitaw State Academy, Dr. Nu Nu Lwin, presented a commemorative gift, which the Ambassador of India to Myanmar accepted. The Ambassador then presented commemorative gifts in return to the Union Minister and the Deputy Minister, it’s reported.
