Union Minister for Electricity and Energy U Ko Ko Lwin met with Belarus’s Minister of Energy in Minsk on October 28 to discuss cooperation in the electricity and energy sectors.

The meeting focused on implementing the bilateral energy cooperation roadmap, including technical training, power transmission and distribution, and reducing electricity and natural gas losses. The Union Minister expressed interest in sending engineers and skilled workers to Belarus for on-the-job training in power plant operations, high-voltage transmission systems and maintenance.
