Cultural Exchange Program: Culture and Art Festival of LMC countries

The 14th Culture and Art Festival of Countries in the Lancang-Mekong River Basin opened on October 28, in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture (Jinghong) in Yunnan Province, China.

The festival brought together 6 Lancang-Mekong member countries such as China, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Viet Nam and Cambodia to exchange culture and traditions through arts. The cultural exchange programs serve as a platform to promote mutual understanding and friendship among member countries. The program also strengthens peace, mutual understanding and future cooperation among Lancang-Mekong region.
