Relief Supplies: Assistance provided for MORAC staff families

On 19th April, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin accompanied by Deputy Ministers and concerned officials visited the temporary shelters opened at Tabaung Ground in Pobbathiri Township, National Museum (Nay Pyi Taw), Office No.35 of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture and Yan Aung Myin Shwe Lat Hla pagoda in Dekkinathiri Township where the earthquake affected staff under the ministry are being accommodated.

During the visits, the Union Minister and officials provided Buddha statues, foodstuff, and household supplies for the staff and inspected the drinking water access and accomodation layouts. They also instructed for timely construction of temporary buildings before monsoon season and systematic installation of drinking water and electricity access as well as household utilities. 

The Union Minister also encouraged the staff to stay strong, upholding unity and family spirit.  A total of 1,333 earthquake victims staff under the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture in Nay Pyi Taw were provided with Buddha Statues, foodstuff and household supplies.
