Receiving SG of BIMSTEC: NSA received SG of BIMSTEC

National Security Advisor and Union Minister of the Ministry of the President's Office, U Tin Aung San, received Mr. Indra Mani Pandey, Secretary-General of BIMSTEC, Tuesday morning at the reception hall of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, they openly and cordially exchanged views on matters including food and energy security among BIMSTEC member states, maritime security and joint exercise-related issues, and the need to further enhance cooperation across various sectors for development. The meeting was attended by responsible officials from the Ministry of the President's Office and the BIMSTEC Secretary-General's Office, it’s reported.
