Phyo Thu Min Thit from Myanmar has been selected as one of the winners of Rosatom’s international educational project, Icebreaker of Knowledge.
The competition attracted nearly 5,000 students aged 14 to 16 from 22 countries. Participants completed science quizzes, attended educational webinars, and presented projects on how nuclear technologies are changing the world. As a winner, Phyo Thu Min Thit will join an international team of students on a special expedition to the North Pole in August aboard the Russian nuclear-powered icebreaker 50 Let Pobedy.
The program aims to promote science, technology, and nuclear energy education among young people. During the expedition, students will take part in lectures, workshops, and scientific activities led by experts from around the world. For some participating countries, including Myanmar, this will be the first time a student travels to the North Pole through the program.
