Social Welfare: Meeting with officials in Uzbekistan

Deputy Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Thant Zaw Lwin held separate meeting with the Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan, and Director of the National Agency for Social Protection of Uzbekistan on Friday.

The Deputy Minister is currently in Samarkand of Uzbekistan, to attend the World Summit on Investing in Children's Well-Being and related meetings from October 21stto 22nd. As Myanmar and Uzbekistan reached 24th anniversary of the diplomatic relations, the meeting focused on strengthening friendship and enhancing cooperation in social welfare services between the two countries.
