Traditional Beauties of Myanmar Women: Fashion Show to commemorate Myanmar Women’s Day

A Fashion Show showcasing the Traditional Beauties of Myanmar Women was held at the Myanmar International Convention Center II in Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday, in honor of Myanmar Women's Day, which falls on July 3rd.

Daw Kyu Kyu Hlia, the Honorary Patron of the Myanmar Women's Affairs Federation (MWAF) and wife of the State Administration Council Chairman and Prime Minister, attended the event. Also present were the Honorary Patrons, wives of SAC Secretary and Joint Secretary, SAC members and their wives, Union Minister for Legal Affairs, Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, wives of the Union Ministers and Nay Pyi Taw Command Commander, the Deputy Ministers and wives, departmental heads, staff, students, officials from MWAF and women’s organizations, famous artists, vocalists, designers and invited guests.

The fashion show featured performances of songs, traditional wedding and casual attire, as well as dramas and theatrical performances.
