MDY RIC Meeting: MDY Region CM delivered the opening address

The Mandalay Region Investment Committee meeting (2/2026) was held on March 16 at the meeting hall of the Mandalay Region Government Office. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Region Investment Committee and Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung, Region Government members, responsible officials, Investment Committee members, officials from relevant departments and companies, and invitees.

During the meeting, the Region Chief Minister delivered the opening address. Subsequently, the Committee Secretary, Dr. Min Zaw Oo, reported and clarified on applications submitted regarding confirmation orders for assembly, manufacturing, and sales businesses and service businesses, as well as requests for permission to expand production of products. Following this, responsible officials from the companies explained their ongoing business operations.

Afterwards, the Committee Secretary discussed and reported on the status of field inspections conducted by the Investment Enterprise Supervision Team within the region. The Region Chief Minister then coordinated and facilitated necessary arrangements based on the discussions and presentations, and delivered a concluding speech, it’s reported.
