Tourism Industry: Russian language (refresher) course for hotel services

Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye on Monday addressed the opening of the Russian language (refresher) course for hotel services launched by the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism.

In his address in Taunggyi, the Chief Minister said that this course is designed to cover not only hotel business vocabulary and speech (writing, reading, speaking), but also basic grammar, building short sentences, arithmetic and financial terms and the habits and behaviors of the Russian people.

He also expressed words of thanks to concerned officials for opening this refresher course as it will sharpen skills to provide better services to Russian tourists. This Russian language (refresher) course for hotel services joined by 20 trainees is set to take a month.

It’s reported that the Shan State’s Directorate of Hotels and Tourism has conducted the Russian language courses for hotel services and were joined by 130 trainees till the 9th of July this year.
