Joint Cleanliness Efforts : Kayah State CM observed the cleanliness efforts

The Kayah State Government is actively implementing measures to make Loikaw, the state capital, a green and clean city.

In the morning on Saturday, the State Chief Minister, U Ant Maw, along with state government members, visited the Sasana  2500 Monastery in Mine Lone Ward, Loikaw, to inspect and encourage the joint cleanliness efforts carried out by departmental staff and local residents.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister and officials visited Yay Ni Kan  Village to inspect the construction of a new model demonstration poultry farm, being implemented by the Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department under the state budget for the 2026–2027 fiscal year. He provided necessary guidance.

After that, they visited Dawnoku Ward and Min Su Ward to inspect the pumping of floodwater into Balu Chaung using two 50HP motors and two six-inch PVC pipes, the receding water levels, and the excavation of drainage channels.

The team then proceeded to Htay Thama  Ward to inspect the conditions requiring the re-excavation of drains and retention ponds to allow water to flow back through the original waterways into the Htay Thama ထေးသမ retention ponds, aiming to prevent flooding in low-lying areas. The Chief Minister instructed responsible officials to expedite implementation and provided necessary coordination and support.
