Swollen Ayeyawady: Ayeyawady River In Nyaung-U Township Exceeds Its Danger Mark

The water level of Ayeyawady river in Nyaung-U Township of Mandalay Region reached 2,148 cm exceeding its danger mark of 2,120 cm, according to the observation of Department of Meteorology and Hydrology at 6:00 am on 29th July.
Due to the condition of the danger level, Nyaung-U Township Fire Service Department helped to displace the households who are living in low-lying areas to safer place.
The rising river danger flood warning is alerted to low-lying wards that are inflow of water along Ayeyawady River with hand speaker by motor boat.
