Pyithu Hluttaw: Ninth day meeting of third regular session

The ninth day meeting of the third regular session of the third Pyithu Hluttaw was held on October 1 at the Pyithu Hluttaw meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw.

The meeting covered several key issues including plans to transition to a real-time electricity billing system that informs the public in a timely manner, to extend the national power grid to Tamu Township and to construct a concrete road or perform major maintenance on the Letpadan–Tharawaw Road as well as obtaining the Hluttaw's approval to pass without further amendment the Draft Law Amending the Amyotha Hluttaw Election Law for the Seventh Time which had been returned with amendments by the Amyotha Hluttaw and the Hluttaw's approval to pass without further amendment the Draft Law Amending the Region Hluttaw or State Hluttaw Election Law for the Seventh Time which had also been returned with amendments by the Amyotha Hluttaw. It is reported that the tenth day of the third regular session of the third Pyithu Hluttaw will continue on October 2.
