Efforts for Chin State: Dy Minister inspects reconstruction works

Deputy Minister for Construction Dr. Thaung Naing, who is currently in Chin State to carry out rehabilitation works, inspected conditions along the Kale–Falam–Hakha Road on October 1 alongside members of the Chin State Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Working Committee.

In response to reports presented during the inspection, the Deputy Minister instructed officials to make special efforts to prevent any disruption to transport links. He directed them to stand by with sufficient manpower and machinery to take timely action in the event of any road communication difficulties, and coordinated the necessary requirements.

The Deputy Minister and his team then inspected ongoing clearance operations between Mileposts 25/4 and 26/1 on the Kale–Falam–Hakha Road, where continuous heavy rain had caused a landslide that blocked the road, to ensure safe travel for the public.
