Job Employment: Diesel engine repairing, welding and masonry course

With the support of Mon State Government, the Mon State Job Opportunity Creating Working Committee to eradicate child labour organized opening of basic single stroke diesel engine repairing and maintenance course, basic welding course, basic foundation and masonry course at the Government Technical High School in Mawlamyaing on 24th July.

At the event, Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein said that according to the 1st 5-year plan of National Level Work Plan (2019-2023), the Working Committee on Creating Job Opportunities has a responsibility to get a qualified workforce, to arrange suitable jobs for the trainees who completed the course, to promote small and medium enterprise markets and to provide technical assistance for producing regional products as a value-added materials, to connect with market and departments which want to create jobs.

The Mon State Job Opportunity Creating Working Committee to Eradicate Child Labour conducts vocational trainings to reduce child labour and the trainees are urged to strive for becoming skillful workers who are reliable for the state development. Later, the State Chief Minister, the Commander and state ministers cordially greeted the trainees.

The course will be conducted to 40 trainees from 24th July to 4th August.
