Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal goods worth over 223 mln Kyats seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade. On the22nd of July, illegal foodstuffs including sugar and flour and goods including assorted batteries and lunch boxes worth over 223 million Kyatys were confiscated in Sagaing Region and in Muse Township as well as at the Yepu Permanent Checkpoint.Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
