Health Care Services: Relief measures for flood affected communities

Health staff are providing health care services to the flood affected people taking temporarily shelters at the relief camps in Nay Pyi Taw Council area.

On Thursday, Union Minister DrThetKhaing Win visited the relief camps and encouraged the health staff, rendering health care services to the flood victims. He also provided the needs for medicines and medical equipment while instructing for personal hygiene and systematic throwing of wastes with health awareness.

Due to inundation triggered by heavy rain, 35 relief camps have been opened in Nay Pyi Taw Tatkone, Pyinmana, Lewe, Pobbathiri, Zeyathiri and Zabuthiri Townships. Health care services are being provided in these camps in cooperation with the local authorities, related departments and residents.
