






Members of the State Administration Council (SAC) Union Minister for Defence General Mya Tun Oo and U Moung Har as well as the Chin State Chief Minister and many other officials attended the celebration of the 74th Chin National Day falling on the 20th of February 2022.
This event on Sunday in Hakha of Chin State began with reading out the message sent by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing. In this ceremony, the State Administration Council provided 200 million Kyats for development of Chin State and also COVID-19 prevention materials.
Also, the Ministry of Border Affairs provided 100 sets of solar panel, and prizes were awarded to those who won in the articles contest marking the 74th Chin National Day. Also, certificates of honour and prizes were awarded to those who performed the outstanding social, agricultural and agribusiness and management works.
The Union Minister and officials also viewed the Chin cultural items on display, articles marking the 74th Chin National Day and the Chin cultural performances and provided cash assistance to the cultural groups. Chin National Day is a historic day for all the ethnic groups of Chin people who use a similar language and embrace the similar culture, historical tradition and custom.
