













In order to promote the development of a modern, innovative, and sustainable television system environment that is easily accessible to the public, SOFTTECT, which has more than 20 years of experience in satellite TV, broadcasting technology, and equipment-related services, has been applying its expertise and technology to make it easier for people across Myanmar to access and enjoy high-quality entertainment, educational content, knowledge, and news and information.
The official launch ceremony of the SOFTTECT Platform was held on August 28 at the MELLIA HOTEL on Kabar Aye Pagoda Road in Yangon.
The SOFTTECT Platform has been designed as a Free-to-Air (FTA) system, enabling audiences throughout Myanmar, including those in areas outside major cities, to access a wider range of entertainment, educational programs, knowledge-based content, and news through satellite television broadcasting at an affordable cost.
Representatives from government organizations, broadcasters, strategic partners, media organizations, sales representatives, technicians, and other industry stakeholders attended the launch ceremony, it’s learnt.
MITV is a broadcast TV brand intended for international and local English speaking consumers, launched on 31st March 2010 based in Yangon.
