Collective Cleaning Activities : Kayah State CM encouraged the participants

The Kayah State Government has been continuously undertaking measures to keep the state capital, Loikaw, clean and pleasant in accordance with urban standards.

Saturday morning, the Kayah State Police Force, Fire Services Department, General Administration Department, departmental staff, and local residents jointly carried out a cleaning activities at Mogaung  Pagoda and Pubbar Yon  Monastery in Mingalar Ward.

State Chief Minister U Ant Maw and members of the State Government inspected and encouraged the cleaning activities and coordinated the provision of necessary assistance.

Afterwards, the State Chief Minister and officials attended a ceremony at the State Hall to provide basic food supplies, including rice and cooking oil, to internally displaced persons (IDPs) from the Daw Paw Kle  Village Tract of Loikaw Township, Phaya Ni Village, and Hpruso  Township.

The Chief Minister delivered remarks and presented rice and cooking oil to the IDPs, with representatives receiving the supplies on their behalf. A resident from Phaya Ni Village then expressed words of thanks on behalf of the displaced persons.

During the ceremony, rice and cooking oil were provided to a total of 623 people who had arrived and were residing in Loikaw. They comprised 346 residents from Phaya Ni Village, and 277 residents from Hpruso Township. A total of 155 bags of rice and 311 viss of cooking oil were distributed, it’s reported.
