Edible Oil Milling Sector : MEOMA holds annual general meeting

The Myanmar Edible Oil Millers Association (MEOMA) held its annual general meeting on Sunday, attended by Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung, Union Minister for Industry and MSME Development Dr Charlie Than, and Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Myo Zaw Thein.

The meeting brought together representatives and members of MEOMA to review the association’s activities and discuss matters related to the development of the edible oil milling sector. During the meeting, the attendees exchanged views on the current situation of the edible oil industry and the challenges and opportunities facing edible oil millers.

Discussions also focused on strengthening cooperation among relevant ministries, industry representatives and businesses. The annual general meeting also served as a platform for MEOMA members to discuss measures to improve the efficiency and development of the edible oil milling industry and contribute to the sustainable growth of the sector.
