Labour Affairs: Ensuring smooth process for overseas workers

Union Minister for Labour U Khin Maung Soe together with officials observed the Workplace-based Motor Sewing Training Course at Skilled Training Center (North Dagon) in Dagon Myothit (North), Yangon on Sunday.

The Union Minister then stressed the officials to open the Skilled Training Courses continuously, to be the courses matching with workplaces, creating opportunities for jobs connection. The Union Minister also inspected the status of the Overseas Job Directory Courses, and instructed the workers to be loyal to the State, and respect the laws of respective countries while striving to promote their livelihood.

Next, the Union Minister inspected the issuing of Overseas Worker Identification Card-OWIC, in which he stressed to ensure smooth operational processes for the returning migrant workers to re-enter the workplace on time after their leave, providing employment opportunities.
