Official Visit to Malaysia: President arrived at Kuala Lumpur Intl. Airport

The Myanmar High-Level Delegation led by President U Min Aung Hlaing of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar departed in the morning on October 7, from Nay Pyi Taw Airport on a special flight for an Official Visit to Malaysia at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato' Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim.

The Myanmar High-Level Delegation led by President U Min Aung Hlaing was seen off at the airport by Vice Presidents U Nyo Saw and Daw Nan Ni Ni Aye, Speaker of the Pyithu Hluttaw U Khin Yi, Speaker of the Amyotha Hluttaw U Aung Lin Dwe, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services General Ye Win Oo, Union Ministers, the Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, and responsible officials from the Malaysian Embassy and Military Attaché Office in Myanmar.

Accompanying the President on the trip were Union Ministers U Khin Maung Yee, U Tin Maung Swe, U Min Naung, U Myint Kyaing, U Maung Myint, U Tun Ohn, Rakhine State Chief Minister U Naing Oo, Ayeyarwady Region Chief Minister U Aye Kyaw, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Deputy Ministers, and responsible officials.

Afterwards, the special flight carrying the Myanmar High-Level Delegation led by the President arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia at approximately 12:30 PM local time, where they were warmly welcomed at the airport by responsible officials of the Malaysian Government led by Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Mr. Dato' Seri Johari Abdul Ghani, Myanmar Ambassador to Malaysia U Aung Kyaw Moe and his wife, Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy, Air) Brigadier General Nyi Nyi Oo, and responsible officials.

During the welcoming ceremony, a Malaysian Guard of Honour also took positions on either side of the red carpet, presented a salute, and extended a ceremonial welcome, it is reported.
