Economic Cooperation: Myanmar-Malaysia High-Level Business Dialogue 2026

Myanmar-Malaysia High-Level Business Dialogue 2026 was held in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, with the attendance of President U Min Aung Hlaing.

The high-level business dialogue was jointly organized by the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) and its Malaysian counterpart, with the aim of promoting greater investment and expanding economic cooperation between Myanmar and Malaysia. The event brought together representatives from the business communities of both countries.

In his address, President U Min Aung Hlaing discussed opportunities to strengthen bilateral economic ties and encourage increased cooperation in trade, investment and business. The dialogue provided a platform for business leaders and stakeholders from Myanmar and Malaysia to exchange views and explore potential areas of collaboration.

The Myanmar-Malaysia High-Level Business Dialogue is part of broader efforts to enhance economic relations between the two countries and create greater opportunities for bilateral investment and commercial partnerships. Representatives from the two countries' business sectors also took part in discussions aimed at identifying potential areas for increased cooperation and strengthening links between the private sectors of Myanmar and Malaysia.
