School Enrollment Event: Chief Minister attends school enrollment ceremony

Chief Minister of Taninthayi Region U Zaw Naing Oo attended the regional school enrollment ceremony for the 2026–2027 academic year at Dawei City Hall on Friday.

The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of ensuring all school-age children can attend school, providing free textbooks, exercise books, stationery, and uniforms from primary to high school levels. He emphasized fostering students’ knowledge, patriotism, and respect for national culture, aiming to nurture capable and responsible citizens.

Officials also presented details of school support programs. During the ceremony, textbooks and uniforms were distributed to students, and donors contributed to school development initiatives.
