




The workshop on the implementation of the Monitoring and Evaluation Framework for the National Education Strategic Plan (2021-2030) was held at the Ministry of Education in Nay Pyi Taw on February 26th.
First, Union Minister Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein delivered an address, stating that the most crucial aspects in implementing the Ministry of Education's policies are the basic education and higher education sectors. Regarding the basic education sector, when considering the State's policy, students are currently learning with new curricula to successfully complete KG+9 education.
The Department of Basic Education is supporting the development of projects to ensure the quality of teachers through budget planning. The Monitoring and Evaluation System is extremely important for examining and measuring the effectiveness of these budgets, which is why today's ceremony is being held. She emphasized that to achieve the goals of the National Education Strategic Plan (2021-2030) and to realize the 10 strategic transformations in education sector reform, collective effort is required.
She urged all participants to work together to strengthen and enhance the implementation of strategies and action plans within the National Education Strategic Plan through the implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities in accordance with the framework.
Following this, Deputy Director General of the Department of Education Research, Planning and Training Dr. Moe Moe clarified the objectives and key outcomes of the workshop, after which attendees from various departments divided into groups to discuss Sections (1) and (2).The workshop will be held on February 26th and 27th.
