










On the morning of August 26, artists performed for the Tatmadawmen and the Myanmar Police Force in Loikaw, Kayah State. Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn and Chief Minister of Kayah State U Zaw Myo Tin attended the event and awarded cash prizes to the personnel.
In his speech, Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn said that the artists on the trip had performed to entertain the public and civil service families. Although they had hoped to perform for all members of Tatmadaw and the police force, they were only able to perform for those who could attend.
He praised the military and police forces for their brave efforts in restoring stability to the area. He also noted that, thanks to the management of the Kayah State Government and their reconstruction work, Loikaw has made significant progress in a short time, becoming a cleaner and more pleasant city. He expressed his hope for continued progress through such collaborative efforts.
Next, beloved artists, including Academy Award winners Yan Aung, May Than Nu, and Soe Myat Thuza, along with Dein Daung, Ohn Thee, Nyein Chan, Yin Lat, Thinzar Myint Mo, and Nay Chi Nyein Chan, performed for the audience. The attendees happily sang and danced along.
In the afternoon, the Union Minister and the artists left Loikaw by car and arrived in Taunggyi, Shan State. They performed at the Taunggyi City Hall, where their performances were enjoyed by Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn, Chief Minister of Shan State U Aung Aung, departmental staff from the state, district, and township levels, Tatmadaw families, members of eight ethnic literature and culture groups, and local residents. Students from the University of Medicine (Taunggyi), Taunggyi University, the Education Degree College, and the Nursing and Midwifery Training School also attended.
The performance began with a joint dance by the Shan and Pa'O ethnic literature and culture groups. The famous Artists, performed songs and Anyeint show. Following the performance, the Chief Minister presented cash prizes to the artists.
The Union Minister then donated 30 MRTV DTH satellite dish sets and 50 T-2 boxes to the Shan State Government, and 50 MRTV DTH dish sets and 50 T-2 boxes to the Southern Shan Volunteer Brotherhood. The Project Director of Forever Group Company, U Thein Tun Aung, also donated 50 Canal+ DTH satellite dish sets each to the Shan State Government and the Southern Shan Volunteer Brotherhood, totaling 100 sets.
Finally, the Union Minister, the Chief Minister, and other officials held a lottery for attendees, with 10 MRTV DTH satellite dish sets and 20 T-2 boxes as prizes. After the prizes were handed over, everyone sang and danced together, bringing the event to a joyful close.
