






Organized by the State Administration Council, the paper reading session marked the Buddha Day which falls on the full moon day of Kasone was held at the Aggadhipati Sasana Beikman in the Maravijaya Buddha Park of the Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw in the afternoon on Wednesday.
Also present at the occasion were the presiding Sayadaws of the paper reading session, Rector Sayadaw of the State Pariyatti Sasana University (Yangon) Dr. Baddanta Kumara, Rector Sayadaw of the State Pariyatti Sasana University (Mandalay) Dr. Baddanta Kesara and Rector Sayadaw of International Theravada Buddhist Missionary University Dr. Baddanta Chekinda, paper author Sayadaws, Union Ministers, Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council, Deputy Ministers, departmental heads, officials and staff members.
At the occasion, Rector Sayadaw of the State Pariyatti Sasana University (Yangon) Dr. Baddanta Kumara gave an opening Ovadakatha. Next, the professor Sayadaw Dr. Baddanta Kavidhaja from Sitagu World Buddhist University and professor Sayadaw/head of Department Dr. Baddanta Acinna read the papers and replied the questions of the attendees.
Then, the presiding Sayasaw of the Rector Sayadaw of the State Pariyatti Sasana University (Mandalay) Dr. Baddanta Kesara delivered an Ovadakatha. Next, the professor Sayadaw/Head of faculty of Abhidhamma Faculty Dr. Baddanta Therinda of the State Pariyatti Sasana University (Yangon) and the Lecturer Sayadaw of the English Department of the State Pariyatti Sasana University (Mandalay) Baddanta Kesara read the papers and replied the questions of the attendees.
After that, the Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin offered the certificate of Honor for the paper reading session and cash donation. After Ovadakatha of conclusion by the Rector Sayadaw of International Theravada Buddhist Missionary University Dr. Baddanta Chekinda, the paper reading session was concluded.
