Agricultural Development: Paddy and crop plantations in Pyay inspected

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win on Sunday inspected monsoon paddy plantation at 60-acre mass model plot in Ngar Ywa Village-Tract in Pyay Township.

The Chief Minister also met with the farmers and encouraged to practice pre-planting operation and to apply green manure to improve soil condition. Likewise, the Chief Minister visited sesame plantation in Nattalin Village-Tract, instructed to choose a sesame variety which has high market demand and coordinated requirement.

They also oversaw the thriving condition of monsoon peanut plantations in HtamaKaut Village Tract, urged the extensive application of natural fertilizer and encouraged small-scale vegetable plantations.
