Monsoon Tree Planting Festival: Greening efforts and development works

Chief Minister of Yangon Region U Aung Naing Thu on Sunday attended the Monsoon Tree Planting Festival jointly organized by the Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs Federation (MCEF) and WestYangon Technological University (WYTU) in HlaingTharya (West) Township.

At the event, the Chief Minister delivered an opening speech, while MCEF Chairman U Shein Win gave a greeting remark and Rector Dr. Nyunt Soe delivered words of thanks.

The Chief Minister and officials later planted various trees and observed the planting of 774 trees by students and officials. The Chief Minister and party also inspected ongoing works in HlaingTharya (East) Township to develop a roadside park along Yangon–Pathein Road and public seating areas and heard reports on the project progress.
