









The Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing addressed the second day coordination meeting, held at the office of the SAC Chairman on Tuesday.
It was also attended by the Vice Chairman of SAC Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win, the SAC members, Secretary and Joint-secretary, the Union ministers, the Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council, the Region/ State Chief Ministers and the Chairmen of self-administered zones.
Firstly, the chief ministers of regions and states and chairmen of self-administered zones submitted reports on implementation of regional administration, security, rule of law, social, economy, education, health, agriculture and the regional development tasks, The Union Ministers also clarified progress of achievements according to the set targets and objectives, implementation of development tasks, national economic development, peace and stability, future work programs, international cooperation with Power Point Presentation.
Regarding the clarifications, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister gave guidance on the importance of national food security while giving priority to grow rice especially high yielding paddy strains and other crops in respective regions and states, encouraging the local manufacturing industries which could produce quality products based on agriculture and livestock breeding sector.
The Prime Minister also discussed that the national economic development should be implemented by rendering more assistance to the farmers. In order to grow summer paddy and mung bean, the farmers would be supplied agricultural inputs such as fertilizers, seeds and fuel by establishing exclusive fund of 400 billion Kyats by shifting from the National Disaster Management Fund.
With the guidance of State, the output of rice and beans will be exported. Depending on the yielding, the farmers are entitled to enjoy proper benefits. Although they do not need capital investment, the farmers will gain their socio-economic development. After giving necessary guidance by the Prime Minister, the meeting then concluded.
