






Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Kan Myint Than, accompanied by members of the Nay Pyi Taw Council, officials from the Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee, the Secretary of the Nay Pyi Taw Council, and chairpersons of the District and Township Administration and Management Committees, paid visits to and paid respects to centenarians aged 100 and above, Sunday morning.
First, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman visited 119-year-old Daw Than Myint at her residence in Mee Laung Kone Village, Min Kone Village Tract, Ottarathiri Township. He presented food items and cash as a gesture of respect and arranged for necessary assistance to be provided.
Next, accompanied by officials, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman visited 112-year-old Daw Nge at her residence in Thayar Su Village, Kyaung Yay Village Tract, Lewe Township. He presented food items and cash as a gesture of respect and made arrangements to provide necessary assistance.
According to the Nay Pyi Taw Immigration and Population Department, there are currently 24 people aged 100 and above residing in Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory, it’s reported.
