Work Undertakings:Chief Minister tours in Man Aung

Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin visited Man Aung Township on March 3, to inspect ongoing development projects.

They visited the Ancient Historic Yan Aung Myin Pagoda and donated flowers, light and water and made cash donation. They also inspected the construction site of the 108-ft high Lawka U-shaung Buddha statue and coordinating support for its completion.

The Chief Minister and party later visited Myoma Monastery and paid homage to the Township Ovada Cariya Sayadaws, donating offertories. They also visited the shrine for traditional spirit and urged for cleanliness of the environ. The Chief Minister and party also inspected progress at a new primary school built with state funding, encouraging officials to complete it on schedule.

They later toured Man Aung People's Hospital, meeting medical staff, comforting patients, and reviewing 24-hour solar power systems installed with state support. They later inspected renovation of Myoma Market, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and orderly construction.

At the Home for the Aged, they observed solar electricity installations and provided rice and cash donation. They later reviewed visited the port to oversee the unloading of consumers goods, transported from Yangon Region. At the Township Electric Engineer Office, they inspected the condition of the generators, and work progress of Quick Win Projects by the General Administration Department.

They later viewed road and bridge construction projects, and urged for timely completion. In the evening, the Chief Minister encouraged the students who will sit for the matriculation exams. They also met with the departmental personnel and local administrative bodies and discussed for development works. They also provided rice and basic foodstuff for the security personnel and departmental staff. On March 4, the Chief Minister and party inspected road upgrading works being implemented by the Township Rural Development Department and urged for timely completion, meeting the set standard.
