Tour in Pyin Oo Lwin: President inspects development in Pyin Oo Lwin

President U Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by his wife and officials, visited B.E Falls Resort in Pyin Oo Lwin of Mandaly Region on Sunday.

The resort provides visitors with various activities such as strolling along 5D LED Glass Bridge, enjoying demonstration of elephants and display of Dinosaur Kingdom, and taking Sky Cable Car ride. Plans are underway to open a 5D Cinema in the Resort. 

During the visit, the President instructed to keep the resort green and clean, ensuring safety and good services to the visitors. At the Thumingala new market (NyanTaw market), the President and party viewed the stalls and asked the sales and market condition, giving guidance to the officials. 

At the National Kandawgyi Garden, the President inspected the greening and cleaning measures, and systematic breeding of animals, while enjoying feeding to fish and geese in the lake. At the briefing hall of the Garden, officials presented the completion of the task guided by the Head of State, maintaining water resources, and activities of the garden.

Upon the reports, the President urged to preserve the garden with flowers blossom and efficient use of water resources and to conduct research for native flowers while drafting a master plan for green house farming. He also highlighted for renovation of forest path, creating bamboo path and expanding cherry plantation.

During the visit, cash donation was made to Cherry Yeik foundation by the President (retired Senior General) along with the well-wishers. The Foundation is conducted by Senior Officers from Defence Services Academy and retired teachers. The President and party later arrived at Anee Sakhan Airport where they observed upgrading of the airport and instructed on systematic seating area, upgrading of airport runway, safety measures for landing and departure of planes and greening of the environment.
