







The opening ceremony for Basic Computer Training Course, Various Bakery & Snack Production Training Course, and Consumer Goods Production Training Course funded by the Shan State Government for the 2025-2026 fiscal year, was held in the meeting hall of the Shan State Ethnic Affairs and Vocational Training Center in Ayetharyar, Taunggyi Township at 9:00 AM on August 19.
At the ceremony, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung told the trainees of the Consumer Goods Production course that they would learn techniques for producing essential daily items such as various soaps, solid soaps, and shampoos. He urged them to use the skills they acquire to start small-scale businesses that can benefit their families and communities after the training is complete.
After that, the Chief Minister presented training materials to the trainees and toured the classrooms. He encouraged the trainees and instructors and inspected the building for cracks caused by the earthquake, as well as some damage to the dormitory rooms. He gave necessary instructions to the officials.
The Chief Minister and officials then inspected the Ayetharyar railway and roads, as well as the Ayetharyar Htone Pho market, giving instructions to officials regarding the needs.
At 11:00 AM, the Chief Minister attended and gave a speech at the fund-giving ceremony organized by the Shan State Government for ethnic traditional and cultural preservation, held at the Taunggyi City Hall.
He then presented funds to the ethnic literature and culture associations within the Shan State and cordially greeted the attendees. The total amount of funds provided by the Shan State Government for ethnic traditional and cultural preservation was 99.835 million kyats, it’s reported.
