Myanma Ethical Culture: Program conducted by NUAC (Mandalay)

Under jointly cooperation of the Ministry of Education, the Mandalay Region Government and the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, the “Myanma Ethical Culture and Fine Arts” program conducted by the National University of Arts and Culture (Mandalay) was opened in Mandalay City hall on Friday.

The program aims to share the fine arts such as music, theatrical and painting arts at the basic education schools in Mandalay region for the preservation of cultural heritages and national characters.

At the ceremony, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko said that as today's young people are the leaders of the future, the “Myanma Ethical Culture and Fine Arts” program is conducted aiming to promote the culture while fostering national characters along with education enhancement.

The Union Minister called on faculty members from the National University of Arts and Culture (Mandalay) who will share the knowledge and the students from basic education schools who will be handed over the heritage to apply the opportunity effectively.

Later, Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Maung Ko and the Deputy Minister for Education U Zaw Win extended greetings and the rector of the National University of Arts and Culture (Mandalay) reported on conducting the program.

According to the program, the National University of Arts and Culture (Mandalay) will teach introduction of music, potray of “Hsan Nway Oo” classical song with Myanmar traditional musical instruments and music symbol, introduction of threatrical dance and demonstration of horse, monkey, orga and marionettee dances, basic painting and cartoon drawing arts.

After the ceremony, the Union Minister visited the Fine Arts High School (Mandalay) and observed trainings by the Pantra Department and gave necessary instructions.
