




Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing made an inspection tour in Nay Pyi Taw Council area to assess the situation for the relief and rehabilitation works for the earthquake-affected people in the afternoon on Monday and gave necessary instructions.
First, the SAC Chairman and officials inspected the preparations for the temporary road to be accessed by the people due to the damages of the inner-City roads caused by the quake in Nay Pyi Taw Council area by motorcade. Consequently, the SAC Chairman arrived at the People’s Paung Laung Sports Ground in Pyinmana Township and inspected the accessibility of water, electricity, sanitation and accommodation.
There, the SAC Chairman instructed to arrange the temporary hospital for the patients injured during the earthquake and the temporary relief center in the sports ground. Apart from the convenience of water and electricity, it’s also needed to prepare mobile hospital and mobile operation vehicles, carried out makeshift tents and mobile washrooms.
The civil service personnel from the damaged staff housings should be provided with temporary accommodation at the nearest sports grounds. Then, the SAC Chairman visited Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw sports ground, inquired the availability of water, electricity, sanitation and accommodation.
Next, the SAC Chairman comforted the patients injured during the earthquake who are undergoing medical treatment at the temporary hospital opened by the Ministry of Health in the indoor stadium individually. During the inspection, the SAC Chairman instructed the responsible officials to carry out for the convenience of the water and electricity for the patients and family members, deploy the Tatmadaw medical team with the mobile operation vehicle and to provide the accommodation for the medical teams from other countries and work together with them in providing medical treatment.
