







Vice Chairman of MSMs Development Work Committee Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than together with Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung met with the MSME entrepreneurs in Mandalay in the afternoon on 11th May.
In his opening remark, the Union Minister said that the meeting is held to support and encourage the MSME industries based on the local products, the products to meet the quality and produce value-added products, to produce for the regional and domestic sufficiency, to enhance the production along the value-chain to penetrate into the international markets and to know the difficulties facing by the entrepreneurs and to provide assistance by the State.
The Union Minister highlighted to enhance the domestic cotton production, dairy products and cooking oil and invited the entrepreneurs to take part in the discussion for the development of industries regarding with cotton, dairy products and edible oil.
Next, the Mandalay Region Chief Minister gave a remark on the domestic manufacturing of cotton blending machine and the efforts to be made for the development of MSME industries and invited the entrepreneurs to discuss the challenges encountered.
Then, the secretary of Mandalay Industrial Zone and manufacturing cotton blending machines by Good Brother Co., Ltd, cotton entrepreneurs, cooking oil mill, coffee entrepreneurs and mango cultivated farmers clarified the related matters and the responsible officials from the departments replied the relevant sectors.
Then, the Union Minister gave a speech of conclusion. After that, the Union Minister and Chief Minister visited Mya Bayin condensed milk factory in Kyaukse Township, heard the clarification of the factory owner U Win Maung regarding with the production process from the raw materials to the finished products and the Union Minister and party inspected the production process.
At the Myanma Agricultural Machinery Factory (Ingone), the Union Minister expressed words of thanks for the manufacturing of pinions for two rollers installed cotton blending machine, requested to manufacture other machinery parts and viewed the manufacturing pinions for the cotton blending machines.
In the evening on 11th of May, Union Minister visited pharmaceutical factory (In-Raung), heard the clarifications of the factory In-Charge, gave necessary instruction and fulfilled requirements reported by the personnel.
