Development Works : Planned drainage system at Kan Thaya Lake in Monywa

Sagaing Region Government is undertaking the development works in Monywa in order to meet the city characteristics. The Regional Government has been carrying out the upgrading tasks around Kan Thaya Lake for the residents to have a relaxation place.

As parts of the efforts, plans have been made for drainage system at Kan Thaya Lake so as to prevent inflow of waste water into the lake. On Sunday, Chief Minister U Ko Lay visited the site and heard reports on work processes. He instructed officials to implement the tasks systematically, meeting the set standards.
