Women and Children Development Development : and raising awareness programs carried out

Programs aimed at rural women's development and raising awareness about women's health, organized by the Myanmar Women and Children Development Foundation, were held at Yaykyipauk  Village, Amarapura Township, the Shwe Lun Pyan  Hall of Saungder  Weaving and Vocational Institute in Amarapura Township and the Grand Ballroom of Mingalar Mandalay Hotel in Mandalay.

On the morning of October 2, Foundation President Dr. Nandar Hmun and responsible officials visited Sayama Gyi Beikman hall in Yaykyipauk  Village, Amarapura Township, where they encouraged expectant mothers and provided aid supplies.

They then attended a rural women's development discussion at Yegyipauk High School (Branch), presenting aid items to outstanding students and persons with disabilities. Afterward, they attended an honorific paying-respects ceremony for senior citizens aged 80 and above, presenting reverence offerings to the elderly.

On the morning of October 3, a discussion was held at the Shwe Lun Pyan Hall of Saungder Weaving and Vocational Institute in Amarapura Township.

Foundation President Dr. Nandar Hmun delivered opening remarks, followed by talks from Dr. Aye Yadanar Myint, a Senior Obstetrician and Gynecologist, who shared awareness on the incidence and prevention of cervical cancer, and Dr. Kyu Kyu Aye, Central Executive Committee Member of the Foundation, who spoke on breast cancer awareness.

At 2:00 PM on October 3, the Rural Women's Development and Women's Health Awareness Program continued in the ballroom of the Mingalar Mandalay Hotel in Chanmyathazi Township, Mandalay Region. The event featured a documentary film showcasing the association's activities, as well as educational talks on cervical cancer and breast cancer, it’s learnt.
