Power Supply: Rotational load-balancing power distribution plan

According to the Ministry of Electricity and Energy, a rotational load-balancing power distribution plan will be implemented from 5th October  amid rising electricity demand driven by high temperatures caused by severe El Niño conditions and concerns over water levels at hydropower reservoirs.

Meanwhile, efforts are underway to expand power generation through solar and hydropower projects and restore damaged infrastructure. The measure is intended to balance electricity supply and demand while preventing disruptions to the national power system.
