Drug Seizure: Stimulant tablets seized in Kachin and Mandalay

Over 6.63 billion kyats worth stimulant tablets have been seized in Kachin State and Mandalay Region, according to the Myanmar Police Force.

On 9th August, a combined team comprised of the members of Anti-Narcotics Unit stopped and searched a vehicle, running from Mandalay to MoeHnyin at NantSiAung Checkpoint.

Over 2 million stimulant tablets have been found, hidden in the bags of maize. Likewise on 10th August, a combine team searched three motorcycles, which were parked near KyaweKya Creek in Thazi Township.

Over 2.4 million stimulant tablets were seized, and the culprits are filed a lawsuit.
