China, Republic of Congo vow to strengthen relationship

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held talks with Constant-Serge Bounda, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Congo in Beijing on Thursday. During the meeting, Wang Yi emphasized using multilateral platforms to boost global governance and AI cooperation for developing countries.

Both sides agreed to strengthen strategic alignment, plan high-level exchanges, and advance practical cooperation under the guidance of their heads of state. Moreover, the two nations discussed preparations for the 10th Ministerial Conference of FOCAC, scheduled to be held in the Republic of the Congo in 2027.
