Viet Nam, Denmark set out prioritizes for upgraded partnership

Viet Nam and Denmark officially upgraded their bilateral ties to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership during the state visit of Vietnamese President Tô Lâm to Copenhagen. The framework marks Denmark as Viet Nam’s 16th comprehensive strategic partner and its second in the European Union.

The leaders committed to maximizing the Bilateral Free Trade Agreement, boosting two-way trade, and expanding investment from major Danish companies like LEGO, Maersk, and Vestas. Moreover, the partnership emphasized joint projects in seaports, green shipping, supply chain connectivity, and railway logistics.
