Saudi crown prince meets with French president in Riyadh

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met with French President Emmanuel Macron in Riyadh on Wednesday. During the unannounced stop on Macron's Gulf tour, both leaders discussed regional security, maritime stability, and extended diesel supply agreements to support French energy security.

Saudi Arabia agreed to extend additional diesel supplies to France to help meet short- and long-term energy needs. Discussions also covered French assistance in protecting critical energy infrastructure in Yanbu, with plans to expand bilateral security ties.
