The sixth consultative meeting on enhancing peace in Sudan opened in Geneva on Wednesday, bringing together representatives from 26 countries to support an inclusive process to end the conflict. Co-hosted by Switzerland and the United Nations, the meeting aims to align international diplomatic strategies, promote de-escalation, and address the worsening humanitarian crisis.

Diplomatic talks center on creating a technical-level working group to reinforce shared intelligence, ensure humanitarian aid access, combat the rapid escalation of drone warfare, and lay the foundations for an inclusive, civilian-led political process.
