Embassy Visit: President meets with embassy staff in Kuala Lumpur

President U Min Aung Hlaing visited the Myanmar Embassy in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday during his official visit to Malaysia.

Embassy staff, their families, and personnel from the Military Attaché Office welcomed the delegation led by the President. The Ambassador and the Military Attaché reported on their respective activities and undertakings. In his guidance, the President emphasized the historically friendly relations between the two countries and urged all to further strengthen bilateral friendship and cooperation.

He also stressed the need to take care of Myanmar migrants in Malaysia by ensuring their security and enabling them to fully enjoy their labour rights in accordance with the laws of both countries. He called on embassy staff to cooperate in promoting bilateral trade, people-to-people exchanges, and the sending of scholars to further educational cooperation.

The President also urged the staff to perform their duties responsibly while safeguarding and promoting the national prestige of Myanmar. After the meeting, the President presented gifts and cash rewards to embassy staff, their families, and scholars.
