Tour in PutaO: Education promotion for regional development

Deputy Minister for Education Dr Zaw Myint stressed the need to emphasize the study of subjects related to industrial, agricultural, and livestock fields to ensure food sufficiency in the region.

The Deputy Minister made the remarks during his meeting with students of the Industrial, Agriculture and Livestock High School in PutaO on Wednesday. Under the guidance of the Head of State, plans are underway to establish a new degree college offering programmes relevant to the region, thereby contributing to the development of border areas and the advancement of national races.

To oversee the progress of these activities, the Deputy Minister visited PutaO and inspected facilities, including the Industrial, Agriculture and Livestock High School, Dohtan Ward Basic Education High School, the hostel operated by the Htoo Foundation, the Government Technological Institute, and the Government Technical High School. He also observed the urban landscape of PutaO.
