Central Administrative Comm. Meeting: Cent. Comm. for State Pariyatti Universities held meeting

Meeting No. (2/2026) of the Central Administrative Committee for State Pariyatti Sasana Universities under the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee was held on Monday at the Convocation Hall of the State Pariyatti Sasana University (Yangon) on Thiri Mingala Kaba Aye Hill, Mayangon Township, Yangon.

At the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee and Chairman of the Central Administrative Committee for State Pariyatti Sasana Universities, Bhadanta Kowida, delivered the opening religious admonition. Next, Union Minister for Religious Affairs U Tin Oo Lwin supplicated religious affairs.

Afterwards, the Director-General of the Department for the Propagation and Promotion of the Sasana, Secretary of the Central Administrative Committee, reported on measures taken in connection with the decisions of Central Administrative Committee Meeting No. (1/2026) and the submissions of Central Education Committee Meeting No. (2/2026).

The Sayadaws and scholars attending the meeting then discussed matters related to Central Administrative Committee Meeting No. (2/2026), adopting and approving 12 resolutions and recording two matters. The Presiding Sayadaw delivered the concluding religious admonition.

Afterwards, the Union Minister offered the offertories to the Sayadaws. Later, the Union Minister inspected arrangements for the respectful veneration of 108 Buddha images enshrined on the upper floor of the great ordination hall of the State Pariyatti Sasana University (Yangon), the need to excavate drainage channels to prevent water from entering the ground floor of the great ordination hall, and the maintenance and conservation of fish in the Dagon Thiri Fish Sanctuary Pond and gave necessary instructions regarding the matters inspected, it’s reported.
